|  Geraldine Ambrosano Duffy, 74, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Born in Englewood, to the late Vincent & Grace Ambrosano, she lived there and has resided in Point Pleasant since 1970. Mrs. Duffy was a retried medical transcriptionist and worked for Brielle Orthopedics and later for Dr. Robert Warren, Point Pleasant. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Butler. A beloved wife and loving mother, surviving are her husband of forty-eight years, James G. Duffy, Sr.; two sons, James G. Duffy, Jr. of Point Pleasant and Scott V. Duffy and his wife Wendy of Beachwood; her daughter, Jacqueline Anilonis and her husband James of Point Pleasant; her brother, Carl Ambrosano; her sister, Ann Weisse; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Amy Anilonis. Friends may visit from 7 - 9 p.m., Friday, January 22 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 10 a.m., Saturday, January 23, a service will be held at the funeral home followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in her memory to the Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
