|  Joseph H. Soleau, Jr. 86, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 23, 2010. Born January 12, 1924 in Hope, NJ he resided in Caldwell and Monmouth Beach unit retiring to Lakewood in 2005. After serving in WW II he owned Soleau Manufacturing Company of Fairfield; worked in the aerospace and telecommunications industry; and was involved in family businesses including Bake-In-A-Bucket, Something Fishy restaurant, Lobster Time Restaurant, and DJS Machinery Sales. He is survived by his wife C. Bernice Soleau; his two children and their spouses, David and Lillian Soleau of Point Pleasant Beach and Douglas and Patricia Wills of Roseland; grandchildren, Russell & Katie Wills, Scott & Sara Wills, Christopher & Kristin Soleau, and Laura Soleau; seven great-grandchildren, Luke, Joshua, Zachary, Micah, Timothy, Curren, and Josiah. A private cremation was arranged by The Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the Kenneth E. Tooker Memorial Scholarship, c/o Point Pleasant Public Education Foundation, 299 Crooks Lane, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742, would be appreciated.
