|  Lawrence G. Robbins, Jr., 85, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, August 12, 2010 at his home. Born in Passaic, he had lived in Belleville and Ramsey and has resided in Point Pleasant since 1962. Larry had worked as an insurance adjuster and retired from Transamerica, New York City. A United States Navy, World War II veteran, he was also a HO model trains enthusiast. He was predeceased by his wife of over sixty years, June Bohrer Robbins; and by his son, David. Surviving are his two sons, Paul B. Robbins of Naples, FL and Lawrence G. Robbins, III and his wife Robyn of Point Pleasant; his sister, Tootie Smith; three grandchildren, Tristan Edwards and her husband Robert, Seychelle Blewett, and John Robbins; and five great-grandchildren, Jake and Devan Polhemus, John Blewett, and Austin and Will Edwards. Military honors and interment will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Road, Arneytown. There will be no calling hours and those attending may meet directly at the cemetery. Please no flowers.
