Funeral Service Options
Pable-Evertz Funeral Home understands the value of personal service. A funeral is a time for family and friends to reflect on a life that has been lived and to honor the memory of that life. Your expression of specific needs and desires provides our staff the ability to memorialize your loved one in a meaningful and personal way. Options are endless and we proactively seek ways to help you before, during and after the service.
Traditional Funeral Service
This service includes viewing hours, a gathering of family and friends for a tribute ceremony held at the funeral home or church, the presence of an opened or closed casket and an order of service followed by burial or cremation. Traditions vary by religion and ethnic origin. We are flexible and will tailor the funeral service to meet your family's preferences and expectations.
Cremation Service
There are a variety of cremation service choices with or without viewing, tribute, gathering ceremony or memorial service.
Memorial Service
This service or gathering is sometimes referred to as a Memorial Gathering of Friends. It is designed by the family to meet their specific needs and is usually held at the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home or a location of your choice. The casket is not present but an urn may be present along with photographs and other memorabilia.
Memorial Tributes
"The Gift of Memory … The Gift of Love” DVD Tribute Presentation is provided by the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home to the families we serve. This presentation takes photos of your loved one and displays them with local scenery and music as a memorial to their life.
Gather about thirty of the pictures that visually encompass your loved one’s life. The shots you choose can be of any milestone. High school graduations, your first home, our grandchildren, the cruise to Bermuda, the touchdown that won the game, Christmas with Grandma, that walk down the aisle…the options are endless but the memories are priceless.
Color, black and white, 8X10…5X7 and even “Boardwalk Booth” photos are fine. If other people or objects are in the shot, we can crop the photo at your request. Simply give the pictures to the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home and we do the rest. Your photos will be put in a moving tribute, with local scenery, set to tasteful music.* Be assured your snapshots will be returned to you in the same condition.
During the visitation or service the “Gift of Memory…Gift of Love” Tribute will play so that all attending can share these special moments together. At the conclusion of the service the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home will provide two copies** of the tribute DVD.
Should your service not be at our facility, the presentation can be provided in advance so it may be viewed at the location you desire.***
The Pable-Evertz Funeral Home has offered this special way to remember for over a decade. Although it can be difficult to raise old memories, we know that you will be able to see why we value this service…it is a step on the path of healing.
*Music is limited to legal/copyright restrictions
**Additional copies are available for an extra charge
***Other location must have a DVD player and TV; in some cases an operator of the
equipment will be necessary as well.
Graveside Service
This is a service held at the grave with the presence of casket or urn. Family and friends meet at the burial site for a brief service. This option is for those who choose not to have a viewing or funeral service at the funeral home or church.
