Obituary of Angelo A. Bufis

Angelo A. Bufis, 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Monday, April 13, 2015. The last surviving of ten children born to the late Vincent and Frances Bufis in Hoboken, he was raised there and has lived in Point Pleasant since 1963. He was a veteran of Korean War and served in the United States Army. Mr. Bufis was the former owner and operator of Evans Decorators, Point Pleasant Beach, and continued to work as a skilled upholsterer for many years. He was a member and past-president of the Point Pleasant Lions Club and was an active communicant of Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach. Surviving are his beloved wife, of nearly sixty five years, Eva M. (Bujacich) Bufis; and two daughters, Mary Bufis and her fiancée Larry Samler and Annette Kinsley and her husband David, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are his grandchildren, David, Jessica, John, Samantha, Sarah, Jake, Saige, and Rikki; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 – 6 p.m., Thursday, Apr. 16 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Friday, Apr. 17 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by entombment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
