Obituary of Thomas M. White

Thomas M. White, 87, of Brick passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center. Raised in Ocean Grove NJ by the late Harry & Isabelle (Walker) White, Thomas grew up in Neptune, NJ where he was a proud member of the Neptune High School football team, graduating in 1945. He married his wife Janet Bodeep White in Asbury Park, in 1957 and raised his family in Ocean Township while working as a detective for the Township of Ocean. Mr. White later moved his family to Point Pleasant Borough, NJ and worked for many years in the Howell School district before settling in Brick. He was a veteran of the United States Army and past president of PBA, Local 57. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet Bodeep White and sister, June Burhing of Colorado. Surviving are his son, Edward White and his wife Kimberly of Howell, NJ along with their children McLaine and Cassidy, his daughter Julia White of Belmar, NJ and his son Dr. Thomas White and his wife Susan and their children Kathryn, Peter and Madeline of Brick, NJ. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the hospice program at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.
