Obituary of Mildred Booth Moran

Mildred Booth Moran, 96, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her home. Born in Newark, to the late John A. & Anna (Fitzpatrick) Booth, she lived there and in Hazlet and has resided in Point Pleasant for sixteen years. Mrs. Moran had worked as a Registered Nurse and was a graduate of Saint Mary's School of Nursing, Orange. She was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation; the Deborah Bowling League; and was a former member of the Hazlet First Aid Squad. She also enjoyed going to Life Gym, Point Pleasant Beach; and was a communicant of the Church of Saint Martha. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Wilson Moran; daughter, Susan Moran; son, Richard Moran; sisters, Eleanor Booth and Margaret Flannery; and brothers, John and James Booth. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Moran Biese, Kathleen Moran, and Maureen Moran Rodriguez; six grandchildren, Sean, Jeremy, Shane, Anthony, Connor, and Sarah; and one great-grandchild, Stephanie. At 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 22 a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant.
