Obituary of Mildred Booth Moran
Mildred Booth Moran, 96, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her home.
Born in Newark, to the late John A. & Anna (Fitzpatrick) Booth, she lived there and in Hazlet and has resided in Point Pleasant for sixteen years.
Mrs. Moran had worked as a Registered Nurse and was a graduate of Saint Mary's School of Nursing, Orange.
She was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation; the Deborah Bowling League; and was a former member of the Hazlet First Aid Squad. She also enjoyed going to Life Gym, Point Pleasant Beach; and was a communicant of the Church of Saint Martha.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Wilson Moran; daughter, Susan Moran; son, Richard Moran; sisters, Eleanor Booth and Margaret Flannery; and brothers, John and James Booth.
Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Moran Biese, Kathleen Moran, and Maureen Moran Rodriguez; six grandchildren, Sean, Jeremy, Shane, Anthony, Connor, and Sarah; and one great-grandchild, Stephanie.
At 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 22 a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant.
In lieu of flowers donations made in her memory to either the Deborah Hospital Foundation www.deborah.org or the Point Boro First Aid Squad www.squad35.org would be appreciated.
