Obituary of Judith Ann Sholtis

Judith Ann (Nolan) Sholtis, of Bay Head, passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from complications sustained after a prolonged battle with breast cancer. Judy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Garry Sholtis; son, Stephen Canneto; daughters Marion Segarra and Rhonda Perkins. She also leaves behind daughter-in-law, Karinhe Canneto; sons-in-law Peter Segarra and Kenneth Perkins and grandchildren: Leighann, Dylan, Shannon, Samuel, Kristen and Kaitlyn. Also surviving are brothers, John W. Nolan and Joseph I. Nolan. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lillian (French) Nolan and sister, Mary Leigh. Mrs. Sholtis worked as a bookkeeper for Schiff & Schiff of West Long Branch; she enjoyed gardening, dancing, birdwatching, riding her bicycle, spending time with her family and an avid Springsteen fan. A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 27 at Pable Evertz Funeral Home on 901 Beaver Dam Road, Point Pleasant; service will be held at 12:30. A repast will be observed directly after the service in the family home at 285 Osborne Ave in Bay Head.
