Obituary of Timothy Charles Hager

Timothy Charles Hager, 52, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, September 27, 2015 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Born in Lakewood, to the late Richard & Judith Dalrymple Hager, he lived in Point Pleasant for all of his life. Tim worked as a self-employed commercial fisherman. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and friend to everyone he met. Tim also loved animals, especially his dogs. Surviving are his wife, of twenty-five years, Barbara Messina Hager; son, Justin Hager and daughter, Alexandra "Ali" Hager, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are two sisters, Penny Pownall and Terri Ware; brother, Richard Hager; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Marie Fyfe; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jeffrey and Michael Hager. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 6:30 p.m. a service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Hager family would be appreciated.
