Obituary of Thomas Pettinato

Thomas Pettinato, 79, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, April 29, 2016. Born in Jersey City to the late Thomas and Lillian Pettinato, he lived there and in Point Pleasant for the past forty-five years. Tom worked for Pathmark and retired as meat manager at the Brick store. He was also a member of United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 464A. Surviving are his wife of nearly thirty-nine years, Marguerite; five children, Thomas Pettinato, Donna Lucas and her husband Jeffrey, Stephanie Waite and her husband Todd, Christopher Pettinato, and Michael Pettinato and his wife Megan; and four step-sons, Jim Keefe, Brian Keefe, Kevin Keefe, and Sean Keefe and his wife Heather. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, Megan and her husband Steve, Kristin, Jeffrey, Michael, Thomas, Julia, Mary, Erica, Kyle, Tristan, Dereck, Thomas, and Sara; great-grandson, Jay Keefe and several other great-grandchildren; and friends. Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 3 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 6:30 p.m. a prayer service will be held.
