Obituary of William A. Kenney

William A. Kenney, 68, of Howell, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Born in Newark, he lived in East Orange, Point Pleasant, and since 1980 in Howell. Bill worked as an electrician for over forty years and retired in 2012. He was a United States Coast Guard, Vietnam era veteran and graduate of Ocean County College. He also was an avid gardener, especially sunflowers. He was predeceased by his father, William Kenney; and step-daughter, Jennifer Prall. Surviving are his beloved wife, Mary Kenney; mother, Grace Kenney; and step-son, Christopher Prall. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Mary Nase; three granddaughters, Stazia, Ivy, and Kayla; and best friend, John Giglio. A memorial visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, May 13 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
