Obituary of Genevieve Ritchik

Genevieve Kirschner Ritchik, 94, of Hilton Head Island, SC, formerly of Brick, passed away, Saturday, October 15, 2016. Born in Union City to the late George Kirschner and Delia Malone Kirschner, she was raised there and for many years lived in Brick before moving to Hilton Head Island. Mrs. Ritchik worked in various clerical and secretarial jobs for most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; son, George; daughter, Susan; and all of her siblings. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Robert Viscomi of Hilton Head Island. Also surviving are two grandchildren and their spouses, Eric & Debora Viscomi of Brick and Suzanne & Courtney Viscomi of Red Bank; and two great-grandchildren, Robert and Lyla. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, October 21 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
