Obituary of Mary A. Prati

Mary A. Huhn Prati, 84, of Brick, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Born in Jersey City to the late Charles and Mary Stevens Huhn she was raised in East Newark and has lived in Brick since 1958. Mary retired from NJ Transit where she worked as a ticket agent for 31 years. Devoted to her family and loved beyond measure by all who knew her, Mary's life was dedicated to the happiness of everyone she loved so dearly. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Prati, Sr. and brother, Charles Huhn. Surviving are three children, John Bergmann and his wife Diana of West Creek, Cyndi Bergmann of Lakewood, and William J. Prati, Jr. of Brick. Also surviving are her twin sister, Clara Burke of Largo, FL; three grandchildren, Emily Bergmann, Jonathan Bergmann and his wife Stassa, and Angelina Prati; her great-grandson, Lincoln; her nephew and several nieces; her beloved pet and companion, Molly; and many, many dear friends. Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. – Noon, Saturday, October 29 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at Noon a service will be held.
