Obituary of Betty Lou Strich
Betty Lou Strich, 91, of Lakewood, passed away, Monday, May 1, 2017.
Born in Graham, NC to the late James and Judy King, she lived in Jersey City and for the past twenty years in Leisure Village East, Lakewood.
Mrs. Strich worked as an assembler for many years at American Can Company, Hoboken. She was a member and past Elder of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Jersey City.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Russell; brother, Jack; and sisters, Mary and Shirley.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Minetree and her husband Joe of Brick; and three sons, Russell Strich, Jr. and his wife Carmen of Lakewood, Jeffrey Strich of Lakewood, and John Strich and his wife Denise of Brick. Also surviving are her ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other family members; and her friends.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 3 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Thursday, May 4 a service will be held at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, Bay Head, followed by interment at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
