Truly a dear Christian Friend, for many years faithfully served her Lord through years of ministry with C.E.F.of Middlesex & Union counties. We fondly remember Evelyn & Jim at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds. I dressed up as a clown at the tent to invite children to hear a Gospel Message.
Jin & Evelyn have many trophies of Grace as they have both entered in the portals of Heaven. SURE GLAD WE WILL SEE THEM AGAIN
Praise the Lord for His Matchless Grace

"Absent from the body . . . present with the Lord" as the Apostle Paul reminds us,
and Jesus Christ Himself declares: "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord," are words from Scripture that immediately come to mind when we learned of Mrs. Matouk's promotion to glory. A hymnwriter reminds us to "Rejoice for a comrade deceased; our loss is her heavenly gain." Among some of our early awareness of CEF: Child Evangelism Fellowship was synonymous with Brother and Sister Matouk, especially in the Middlesex County area, which is now included in our Tri-M Chapter of CEF. There are undoubtedly many men and women who would "rise up and call her blessed" because as boys and girls they heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry of Evelyn Matouk and her husband.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs. Matouk. She will be greatly missed and I will forever treasure all the moments I spent with her. She was a beautiful soul and for as much as I am going to miss her, I know she is celebrating right now in the presence of our Lord. She so looked forwarded to that day and I'm sure she is basking in the light, surrounded by her loving husband, family and friends. My life is definitely better for having known her. In my sadness, I will smile knowing she is truly home. Sending all my prayers for peace and comfort for your family.
Love, Julie (Noack)

I am so sorry to hear about Evelyn's passing but I know that she is with her Lord and Jim and is pain free. I had the pleasure of knowing Evelyn for many years. I had the great honor for the last 4 or 5 years of typing letters for her (Christmas, Easter, seasonal and ones just to catch people up). I really enjoyed our visits when I would pick up her draft or drop off the final copies. I surprised her with sweets or meals and she was so appreciative. Until we see her again.
