Obituary of Timothy Alan Smith

Timothy Alan Smith, 37, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Born in Morristown, Tim lived in Mount Arlington, Fredon, and moved to Point Pleasant in 1994. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School. He worked for B & B Drilling, Stanhope, and also as a car sales representative for various dealerships. Tim was an avid fan of the NY Jets, NY Rangers, and the NY Knicks. And don't forget his latest favorite, Curling. His favorite pastime was playing and napping with his twin niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his father, Jeffrey W. Smith in June of 2016. Surviving are his mother, Karen (Bennington) Smith of Point Pleasant; and his sister, Heather Coon and her husband Robert of Little Egg Harbor. Also surviving are his nephew, Blake; niece, Lorelei; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 1 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
