Obituary of Kristine "Tina" Graybush
Kristine Louise Graybush went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 7th in the loving arms of her four children.
Kristine, affectionately known as "Tina" was born in Fort Lee, where she was blessed to grow up in a wonderful loving Norwegian family with whom she remained close to throughout her life. After graduating from the Illinois School of Nursing in 1955, Tina's adventurous spirit led her to a position as a flight attendant for Pan American Airlines in North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
After returning home to help care for her father, she resumed her nursing career, married and had four children. Throughout her 40 year career, she had many interesting and rewarding positions in nursing including Dermatology, ICU at Jersey Shore Medical Center, and CCU at Miami Heart.
She treasured all of her family and those close to her heart. Everyone who knew her loved her dearly, and felt dearly loved by her. A lover of life and people, it was important to her that others felt loved and valued. She will be truly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband William Graybush and is survived by four children, Pamela Kristine Jansky, Donna Louise Ridgeway, Robert Bruce Henriksen, II, and Kristin Henriksen. In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren, Dana, Tyler, Shannon, Carsten, Kalib, and Aidan; four great-grandchildren, Averi, Michael, Blake, and Brynn; her beloved sister, Elizabeth Roselle and her husband, Frank; her dear cousins, David Stensland, Phyllis Evertz, and Saran Lewis; and many nieces and nephews who remained very close to her heart.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – Noon, Thursday, October 12 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at Noon a service will be held. Entombment will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
