Obituary of John Criscuolo

John Criscuolo, 89, of Point Pleasant, peacefully passed away, Sunday, November 5, 2017. Born in Newark to the late Harry and Victoria Criscuolo, he lived there and went to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Ivy Hill Schools. John was a United States Army veteran and was discharged as a sergeant. He then went on to graduate from Seton Hall University with both a BSB and MBA. In 1951 he went to work as a production manager for 3M where he met his wife, Lois and they were married in 1955. They moved to Point Pleasant in 1957. John started his own business in 1960, Styles Mfg., Point Pleasant Beach, which served the car care industry with solutions and car washing equipment. He also owned the Grand Car Wash, Point Pleasant, and retired in 2013. John was a caring, loving, and devoted family man who found all his joy in providing for his family, friends, and strangers alike. He will be remembered for his decency and faith in God. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois Engle Criscuolo; and son, Paul James Criscuolo. Surviving are two sons, John Criscuolo and his wife Ruth and Mark Criscuolo, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are his daughter-in-law, Cheryl Criscuolo; six grandchildren, John, Jr., Michele, Andrea, Julie, Melissa, and Paul, Jr.; and great-grandson, Luke. At 9:30 a.m., Thursday, November 9 a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant.
