Obituary of Janet King Herbert
Janet King Herbert, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Herbert and Carolyn King, she lived in North Plainfield and Watchung and has resided in Point Pleasant since 1954.
Mrs. Herbert worked for Jack Baker Restaurants and later as a realtor for Diane Turton, Realtors, Bay Head Office.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jerry Herbert.
Surviving are two daughters, Wendy Maas and her husband Joe of Wall and Susan Bruett and her husband Chip of Brick; and her son, Gregg Herbert of Manasquan. Also surviving are two brothers, Michael and Peter King; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Geoffrey, Aaron, and Alexa Maas, Kelly, Chase, and Ryan Bruett, and Carly and Jon Herbert; daughter-in-law, Maribeth Herbert ; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial visitation will be from 3 – 6 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 5:30 p.m. a service will be held.
