Obituary of Beatrice W. Larson

BEATRICE W. LARSON, 94, of LAKEWOOD passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Harrogate Health Center. She was born on November 28, 1913 in New Brunswick, later moving to Asbury Park. She moved to Spring Lake, as a bride, and resided there for many years prior to moving to Harrogate in 2001. Mrs. Larson was a member of Saint Andrew's United Methodist Church, Spring Lake, and the Spring Lake Women's Club. For many years she was a volunteer at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center and in 1999 received the Volunteer of the Year Award for her service. She was predeceased by her parents, Anna & Louis Walker; her husband, of forty-two years, George W. Larson; and sisters, Hazel Walker, Florence Zerman, Alberta Cullinane, and Elaine Graf. Surviving are her children, Stephanie Patterson and her husband William and Kirk Larson and his wife Lisbeth; her grandchildren, Adam Truax and his wife Jennifer and Timothy Larson and his wife Eileen; and great grandchildren, William and Jack Truax. At 12 Noon, Friday her funeral service will be held at the PABLE - EVERTZ FUNERAL HOME OF POINT PLEASANT, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732-899-3300), where friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. As an expression of sympathy, contributions made in her memory to the Renewal Fund of Saint Andrew's United Methodist Church, 907 4th Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762, would be appreciated.
