JEAN WILSON BURD, 89, of POINT PLEASANT, passed away quietly on January 13, 2009. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Burd, Jr. to whom she had been married for fifty-six years.

Jean was never happier than while working in her garden. She was a splendid knitter and quilter. Morning walks around her circle seeing her neighbors gave her great pleasure. Jean was a wonderful friend, mother, and grandmother. Her family loved her very much. Jean's smile and good cheer will be missed by so many.
