Obituary of Eugene H. Sieb

EUGENE H. SIEB, 80, of POINT PLEASANT, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Newark before moving to Point Pleasant in 1971. Eugene was a retired electronic electrician formerly employed by Duff Electronics, Belmar and RCA, Harrison. He was a former parishioner of St. Mary's by the Sea Episcopal Church, Point Pleasant Beach. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, in 1968. Surviving to cherish his memory are his son and daughter in law, Robert and Margaret Sieb of Scottsburgh, AL; his daughter Jean A. Sieb and Bill Sleckman of Brick, four sisters, Janet Spader of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dana Harwood of Mesa, AZ, Lois Slattery and Jill Connell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and two grandchildren, Kimberly and Lucas. Friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Monday at THE PABLE - EVERTZ FUNERAL HOME OF POINT PLEASANT, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Tuesday funeral services will be held, at the funeral home., followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
