Obituary of Estelle Steffens

ESTELLE BELANGER STEFFENS, 79, of POINT PLEASANT, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Meridian Nursing Center, Brick. Born in Newark, to the late Arthur and Bertha Settele Belanger, she was formerly of Union and has lived in Point Pleasant since 1960. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph E. Steffens and by her brother, Arthur "Sonny" Belanger. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura Beeden of Point Pleasant; grandson, Justin Beeden; sister, Eleanor Zbranak of Toms River; and brother, Raymond Belanger of CA. At 11 a.m., Saturday, January 24, a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Forman and Saint Louis Avenues, Point Pleasant Beach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723, are suggested.
