Obituary of Salvatore Argento

Salvatore Argento, 73, of Brick, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Sicilia, Italy, he had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Brick in 1980. He was a retired tailor and had owned Sal the Tailor, Point Pleasant. He was predeceased by his father Giuseppe Argento. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Blanca (Aguilar) Argento; his mother Giuseppina Argento of Italy; four sons, Joe and his wife Elise of Howell, Robert and his wife Loretta, John and his wife Danielle and Fabricio, all of Brick; two daughters, Nella Doskis and her husband Joseph of Old Bridge and Paty Romero of Honduras; one brother, Onofrio Argento of Italy; his former wife, Giuseppina Argento of Brick and eight grandchildren, Lisa and her husband Elijah, Juliet, Marisa, Adriana, Robert (Boo), Gabriella, Omar and Alexa. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., Tuesday at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where a service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Cremation will be held privately.
