Obituary of James J. Booth

James J. Booth, 82, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Formerly of Newark, he moved to Point Pleasant twenty years ago. He was a United States Army, World War II veteran. James had been employed as a technician retiring from P.S.E.& G., Newark. He was a communicant of the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant. Son of the late John A. and Anna (Fitzpatrick) Booth, he was predeceased by his sisters, Eleanor Booth and Margaret Flannery and his brother, John Booth. Surviving are his sister, Mildred Moran of Point Pleasant; his sister-in-law, Mildred Booth of Brick and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit from 5 - 9 pm, Monday, November 16 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 am, Tuesday, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha followed by interment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
