Obituary of Geraldine Duffy

Geraldine Ambrosano Duffy, 74, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Born in Englewood, to the late Vincent & Grace Ambrosano, she lived there and has resided in Point Pleasant since 1970. Mrs. Duffy was a retried medical transcriptionist and worked for Brielle Orthopedics and later for Dr. Robert Warren, Point Pleasant. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Butler. A beloved wife and loving mother, surviving are her husband of forty-eight years, James G. Duffy, Sr.; two sons, James G. Duffy, Jr. of Point Pleasant and Scott V. Duffy and his wife Wendy of Beachwood; her daughter, Jacqueline Anilonis and her husband James of Point Pleasant; her brother, Carl Ambrosano; her sister, Ann Weisse; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Amy Anilonis. Friends may visit from 7 - 9 p.m., Friday, January 22 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 10 a.m., Saturday, January 23, a service will be held at the funeral home followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
