Obituary of Franklin P. Hauck

Franklin P. Hauck, 81, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Monday, December 19, 2016. Born and raised in Elizabeth, he lived in several locations in the United States and also in Germany, before moving to Point Pleasant Beach in 1989. Mr. Hauck was a retired meteorologist from the United States Air Force. He also served in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Point Pleasant. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Karen; parents, Franklin and Sophie; and sister, Frances. Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer Conover and her husband Scott of Point Pleasant and his son, Stephen Hauck of Point Pleasant Beach. Also surviving are his sister, Janice; grandson, Christopher; niece, Donna and her husband Tony; and niece Karen and her daughter Jessica. Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 21 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Thursday, December 22, a service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 708 Route 88, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
