Obituary of William C. Dikun
William C. Dikun, 93, of Point Pleasant passed away, Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
Born September 6, 1923 to the late George and Barbara Dikun he lived in North Arlington and in Point Pleasant since 1967.
Mr. Dikun was a proud veteran of the United States Navy during World War II, surviving in both the European and Pacific theaters. He retired in 1986 after thirty-nine years of civilian service from the United States Army, Fort Monmouth. He was a proud family man and member of the "Greatest Generation."
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Genevieve Stevens Dikun.
Surviving are two sons, William Dikun and his wife Cindy and Robert Dikun and his wife Ellen, all of Point Pleasant; and three granddaughters, Elissa, Natalie, and Ava.
Funeral services and entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either the Point Boro First Aid Squad or to the Point Pleasant Borough Fire Department.
