Obituary of Mildred W. Trautwein

Mildred W. Trautwein, 97, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, May 26, 2017. Born in Newark to the late Frederick Trautwein and Catherine Paulsen Trautwein, she lived in Irvington and since 1982 in Point Pleasant. She was a retired manager from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey, Newark, where she worked for many years. She was a former member of the Second Congregational Church, Irvington, where she sang in the choir. Mildred had a very happy life. She loved traveling, family, and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Trautwein. She is survived by her sister, Doris Trautwein of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her cousins, Joanne and Mike Tartza and William Knecht; and special friends, Carol and John Squillante. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 31 a service will be held at the funeral home and followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
