Obituary of Gloria J. DeFelice

Gloria Jean Corona DeFelice, 92, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Monday, July 10, 2017. Born in Newark to the late John and Mary Corona, for many years she lived in Irvington and moved to Point Pleasant twenty years ago. Mrs. DeFelice was a homemaker and was truly devoted to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick in 1996 and her son, Anthony in 1970. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Diane DeFelice of Brick. Also surviving are her sister, Catherine Plia; and two grandchildren, Alexandra and Mark. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Friday, July 14 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 7:30 p.m. a prayer service will be held. At 10:45 a.m., Saturday, July 15 interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, and those attending may meet directly at the cemetery office by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
