Obituary of Eva Marie Bufis

Eva Marie Bujacich Bufis, 88, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, July 16, 2017. Born in Hoboken to the late Emile and Mary Bujacich, she was raised there and has lived in Point Pleasant since 1963. Mrs. Bufis worked as an interior designer and decorator, with her husband, at Evans Decorators, Point Pleasant Beach, for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo A. Bufis; and brother, Thomas Bujacich. Surviving are her two daughters, Mary Bufis and her fiancée, Larry Samler and Annette Kinsley and her husband, David, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Barbara Bujacich; grandchildren, David, Jessica, John, Samantha, Sarah, Jake, Saige, and Rikki; great-granddaughter, Polaris Marie; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 19 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Thursday, July 20 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter R.C. Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by entombment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
