Obituary of Julia Sabosik

Julia Fetsco Sabosik, 95, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 24, 2017. Born in Lopez, PA to the late Wasil and Helen Fetsco, she was raised in Pringle, PA and lived in Newark before moving to the Point Pleasant area in 1953. Mrs. Sabosik worked as secretary and treasurer of M.E. Sabosik Associates, Point Pleasant. She was a communicant of the Catholic Community of Saint Peter, Point Pleasant Beach, and the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, and was devoted to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael E. Sabosik, and nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Paula Sabosik Murdoch and husband, Martin; and her son, Robert A. Sabosik and wife, C.J. Goodfellow Sabosik, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Robert Murdoch and wife Gina, Jennifer Murdoch Axtell and husband Jamie, Michelle Sabosik Peoples and husband Brandon, Meredith Sabosik Palumbo and husband Michael, and Megan Sabosik and significant other Shane Reilly; and her great-grandchildren, B.J. Clark, Steven and Brianna Murdoch, Ella and Meric Peoples, and Isabelle, Jacob, and Madison Palumbo. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 9 p.m., Friday, July 28 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter R.C. Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by interment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
