My most heartfelt prayers for the family at this time. Mr. Donley was so much more than a teacher to the students in his care. He was an encourager, a father figure, and a wonderful, kind, loving individual. He didn't just teach, he cared and guided those in his charge. He was always so positive and encouraged you to be the best you could be. "He made you want to be a better human being." My life was blessed by knowing and being taught by him. May he sing with the heavenly choir of angels now, he more than earned his wings.

Loren and I sang together in choirs many times. He was a class act, excellent musician, beautiful voice and very pleasant to be around. The music world, and I in particular, will miss him dearly. He and Lynn were a special couple, popular and loved by everyone who knew them well. I send my most sincere sympathies to his entire family.

Please accept the deepest condolences and sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful man from me and my family. Mr Donley was my teacher and later a kind friend to me when I would visit with my mother and see him at the Canal House for breakfast with the retired group of educators.
He was beloved by all of us who graduated from Point Borough, especially ours, the first class, as though we were all family. He gave the Hallelujah Chorus a special meaning for generations and now it will be an anthem to remember him always.
Rest in peace.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Donley.
When I moved to PPBHS he gave me a school 'home' by making me a madrigal. He was always pleasant, kind and a fantastic educator. I valued him more than words can say. My years spent in that school were memorable, in large part, because of Mr. Donley.
Thank-you so much for sharing him with all of us. Your family is in my prayers.....

Mr. Donley was a wonderful, devoted teacher and choral director. So much of what I know and love of music was shaped by the years I spent as a member of his choral program. I'm especially thankful to have had the opportunity to sing the Hallelujah Chorus under his direction one last time in 2014. It was an incredible tribute to all he meant to so many.
I'm so sorry for your loss. May your memories always be a blessing.
