Obituary of Conrad Mathew Rieder, Jr.

Conrad Mathew Rieder Jr., 71, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. Born in Plainfield to the late Conrad and Stella Rieder, he was raised in Garwood and lived in Brick before moving to Delray Beach. Conrad liked the outdoors including playing tennis and golf. He coached football for many years and enjoyed watching the NY Giants and college football. He will always be remembered for being very kind and a good friend. He is survived by his beloved, Jean Norris; loving children, Katie (Sean) Johnson, Brian Rieder (the late, Abbey Harris Rieder); and a sister, Barbara (Herman) Pfeifer. A memorial visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 24 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
