Obituary of Regina "Jeanne" Sheridan

Regina "Jeanne" Gartland Sheridan, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Saturday, November 4, 2017. Born in Newark to the late Francis Ambrose and Violet (Howard) Gartland, she lived in Union and moved to Point Pleasant in 1958. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank J. Sheridan; sons, Robert and Thomas Sheridan; daughter, Rita Martin; and brothers, Francis Jr., Robert, and John Gartland. Surviving are her son, Daniel Sheridan of Point Pleasant and sister, Barbara Dlugosz of Union. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, John and Michelle, Josh and Gina, Joey and Kelsey, and Katie; six great-grandchildren; Giavonna, Angelena, Ryan, Erin, Madelynn, and Connor; former son-in-law, John Martin; former daughters-in-law, Kathy McCallan and Laura Sheridan; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m., Friday, November 10 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 11 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant. Cremation will be private.
