I am sorry for the loss of your dear Jennie. We struggle with the question of why something like this happens, why people even have to die at all. God hates when things like this happen. He has a purpose that includes "death being no more" -Rev. 21:3, 4, as well as promising to “undo” death with the resurrection of our loved ones – John 5:28, 29. Currently the world is "lying in the power of the wicked one", but not for much longer. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit www.jw.org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN

Durrua cousins, I am so sorry for your loss. Very grateful that Jamie was able to Aunt Jennie Mae to Wi for just a wonderful last visit. My mom will miss her terribly. I will remember your mom as loads of fun. She always was interested in what was happening in all our lives and offered good advice. Also, I respected her as a business woman. My thoughts are with you all. Love, cousin Pat

My mother, being a middle child, was always singing a song or delegating work that needed to be done. She was a dedicated mother to all of her children and her grandchildren as well. She had a very full life and knew how to live every moment with energy. She was either smiling, laughing or crying and seems to me that she was always the strongest when one of her children seemed the weakest. She loved "home made" dresses with big pockets, anything pertaining to the Wizard of Oz and Dorothy and flowers, lots and lots of flowers. Her love for her siblings was a strong tie as the last name she called out days before her passing was that of "Dorothy Della" or "Dor", her oldest sister whom she spoke to daily on the phone. Her passion for life, people, business and animals has been passed down to all of us. She will continue to bless us with the memories she has given to us who shared in her life. If I had to choose one word to express my mother's greatest ability, it would be "forgiveness". Not one of us could compare to her ability to forgive.
