Obituary of Olive "June" Myatt

Olive "June" (Lambertson) Myatt, 88, of Point Pleasant, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones. Born and raised in Matawan, she was a resident of Point Pleasant for the past fifty-eight years. June worked at Point Pleasant Hospital and New Jersey Bell retiring in 1991. She was a member of Harvey Memorial United Methodist Church, Point Pleasant. After her retirement she enjoyed trips to Florida and spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Olive Lambertson; her husband, of fifty-two years, Loyal "Bill" Myatt; and her sister, Norma Baker. Surviving are her children, Linda Disbrow (Robert) of Hellertown, PA, Wayne Myatt (Sharon) of Columbus, Sandy Geoghan (Willie) of Edison, and Bill Myatt of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jeannine Holloway, Jennifer Davis, Rob Disbrow, David Myatt, Melissa Geoghan, Julie Lane, and Amanda Novick; her great-grandchildren, Trevor Davis, Jessica Holloway, Collin, Sean, Aiden, and Gavin Disbrow, David Myatt, Harper Novick, and Wyatt Lane; her sister, Carol Anderson (Andy); sisters-in-law, Amy Ayers and Phyllis Darragh; brother-in-law, Richard Myatt (Marylou); many loving nieces and nephews; and her grand dog, "Arwen." Visitation will be from 2 – 6 p.m., Sunday, March 18 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Monday, March 19, a service will be held at the funeral home and followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
