Obituary of James H. Morey

James H. Morey, 47, of Manchester, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones at Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan. Born in Point Pleasant to the late Stanley and Madeline (Worth) Morey, he was raised there and lived in Ardmore, OK, for over twenty years, before moving to Manchester last year. Jim worked as commercial truck driver and was currently employed by UNFI/Haddon House, Howell. He was an Eagle Scout, B.S.A., Troop 39, Brick, and an avid Pittsburgh Stealers fan. He was predeceased by his daughter, Desiraye Morey. Surviving are three brothers, Stanley and his wife Modesta, Marc and his wife Tammy, and Philip and his wife Michele. Also surviving are his fiancée, Beth; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Renea, Dan, Brittny, Garrett, Meghan, and Russell; Desiraye's mother, Valerie; other family members and friends. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 p.m., Thursday, March 29 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Inurnment at Laurelton Baptist Cemetery will be held privately.
