Obituary of Grace Marie Burns

Grace Marie Villiers Burns, 88, of Brick, passed away, Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Born in North Bergen to the late James and Alice Villiers, she was raised in West New York and has lived in Brick for the past sixty-one years. Grace worked for Fluid Chemical, Lakewood, and retired from the Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library. She enjoyed her cat and riding with her friends on the Brick "Shopping Bus." She also was a member of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, Brick. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Burns. Surviving are two sons, James Burns and wife Jenifer and Raymond Burns and wife Laura, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her step-daughter, Bonnie Bongione and husband John; five grandchildren, James, Ali, Nicole, Megan, and Emily; two step-grandchildren, John and wife Jennifer, and Lisa; step great-grandson, Dylan; and her niece, Barbara Petriello and husband Mike. At 1:30 p.m., Sunday May 6, a memorial service will be held at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, 714 Herbertsville Road, Brick, followed by a repast at the church fellowship hall.
