Obituary of Susan L. Fleming

Susan L. Haenni Fleming, 64, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Born in Point Pleasant to the late Richard and Ruth (Kreiner) Haenni, she was a lifelong resident and graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School.

Susan went on to graduate from Rutgers College, and earned her Master’s degree from Georgian Court University. 

She taught at Memorial Middle School, Point Pleasant, for many years and also worked at the Colonial Bakery.

She is survived by her beloved children, Daniel Fleming and wife Danielle of Brick, Megan Fleming of Bay Head, and Brendan Fleming and wife Stacy of Toms River; and by her grandson, Miles.  She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Haenni and Nancy SantaLucia and husband Matt; and many friends.

Visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 9 p.m., Monday, June 11 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.  At 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12 a service of remembrance will be held at Saint Mary’s by-the-Sea Church, Bay and Atlantic Avenues, Point Pleasant Beach.
