Obituary of Jill Rosenthal

Jill Kravitz Rosenthal, 64, of Brick, passed away, Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Jill was born and raised by the late Jacob and Sophie (Salow) Kravitz in Huntington, NY.  For the past thirty years, Jill and her family have lived happily at the Jersey Shore. 

She was known for her natural zest for life and had a true passion for traveling, which she loved to share with others as a travel agent for TravelSmiths in Point Pleasant, NJ.  She loved being surrounded by her best girl friends with whom she shared a monthly Bunko game night for over twenty years.  Most of all, she loved being ‘Mimi’ to her three grandchildren and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them every chance she got. 

Jill belonged to the church family at Jersey Shore Cavalry Chapel in Point Pleasant Beach.  She had a strong relationship with God, and her spirit and memory will live on with all of those whose lives she touched.

Surviving are her beloved husband of thirty-five years, Gary; daughter, Suzie Davidson and husband Michael of Havertown, PA; and son, Jay Rosenthal and wife Jen of Midland, GA.  Also surviving are her three grandchildren: Tessa, Abby, and Bradley.  She was predeceased by her sister, Lauren Lavoro.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday, August 23 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 7 p.m. a service will be held.  A memorial at Jersey Shore Calvary Chapel is being planned for a later date.
