Obituary of Rosemary Struncius
Rosemary Struncius (nee Kelleher), 92, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, December 31, 2018.
Born in New York City to the late John and Mabel Kelleher, she lived in Point Pleasant Beach for over sixty-five years.
Mrs. Struncius worked as a secretary for Fred Moench, Attorney-at-Law, Point Pleasant Beach, and as a bookkeeper at Point Pleasant Beach Hardware for many years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, whom she married in 1946, Albert; and by her son, Mark.
Surviving are her oldest son, NJ folk musician Gary Struncius, and his long time singing partner and family friend, Deborah Lawton of Lakewood; daughter, Gail Lawrence and her husband Brian of Manasquan; and youngest son, Paul Struncius and his wife Amy of Point Pleasant Beach. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, Sean, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Holt, Augie, and Miya; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Struncius.
At 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26 a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, 406 Forman Avenue (corner of Saint Louis Ave.) Point Pleasant Beach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
