" THE WET COMB-TURTLE BACK ZOO TRIP", CUPCAKES, JUICE, SMILES, HUGS AND KISSES!
Mrs. Spaziano:
My dearest and most treasured time in my life was my childhood in PPB and G. Harold Elementary School! ...In walked one of the most stunning, prettiest, beautiful, "class" Mother's we had all ever seen!! Mrs. Spaziano!!! You smiled and gave us treats(cupcakes, my absolute favorite), and juice, etc. You laughed with us and played and gave me the hugs and kisses that I always craved from people! Your very gentle kind, calming sweet voice is still fresh in my ears! The class trips you accompanied us on! The infamous(as I have named it) "Wet Comb, Turtle Back Zoo" trip! We were all taking turns riding on the top of the huge turtles....I was watching and laughing as Donald was trying his best to stay on the turtle's back for his ride. He leaned a bit forward and his hair fell out of place and forward onto his face. You yelled, "Oh Donny" as you ran to the water fountain with one of those little tiny black combs and wet it, and then gently and perfectly combed Donald's hair back in place! I was so tickled, and laughed loudly, and you then laughed with me!! That, is one of my sweetest dearest childhood memories of your Mrs. Spaziano! So innocent and pure, as were those times! You touched my soul and spirit forever making your essence, love, and kindnesses weaved into my spirit and who I am today because of the Angel you are that God sent to guide us, watch over us, and love us through some of our most formative and everlasting years of development! You, as stunning as ElizabethTaylor and Mr. Spaziano as handsome as James Dean or Paul Newman! The most beautiful parents in our class!! Your son, Donald, who has always been and shall always remain my brother and family, my very dear and best friend So close, trusted, tried and true friend I have had in him for all of my life thus far and will in eternity some day as well! Brava, Mrs. Spaziano(and Mr. Spaziano, Sr.)! Job well done! God wanted his Angel back..wait for me, wait for us, pray for me, and say hello to my Mother and Father and dearly departed ones!
WE ALL LOVED YOU DEARLY IN OUR OWN SPECIAL WAY, JUST AS YOU LOVED AND TOUCHED EACH OF US IN YOUR OWN SPECIAL WAY THOUGHOUT OUR CHILDHOOD AND LIVES!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOR LOVING AND TOUCHING ME AND SHARING YOUR LOVE AND SPIRIT WITH ME, AND THROUGH YOUR SON AND OUR LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP THAT WE BOTH SHARE AND TREASURE!
SO, THE "LESSON" OR "MESSAGE" HERE IS THAT KINDNESS AND LOVE ARE DIVINE! GOD IS LOVE AND YOU GAVE THAT TO HIS MOST PRECIOUS INNOCENT CHILDREN WHICH HAS REMAINED WITH ME AND REMEMBERED BY ME ALL OF MY LIFE THUS FAR! YOU TOUCHED ME, AND MANY MORE IN YOUR LIFE WITH YOUR GODLY LOVE AND WAYS THAT STAYED IN MY HEART AND MIND ALL OF THESE YEARS AND NOW KEEPS ME "WARM AND FUZZY" INSIDE WHENEVER I RECALL YOU AND THOSE PRECIOUS INNOCENT CHILDHOOD DAYS AND THE PERHAPS, "UNAWARE LESSONS" THAT YOU WERE TEACHING US AS SMALL CHILDREN!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! GOD IS LOVE-YOU GAVE LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY!!!!
MY DEEPEST SORROW AND SYMPATHY FOR YOUR FAMILY AND COUNTLESS FRIENDS AND RELATIVES. I ALWAYS LOVED YOU...AND I STILL DO AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO THROUGH DONALD AND YOUR FAMILY!
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, DEAR ANGEL. REST IN PEACE IN GOD'S LOVING ARMS AND CARE.

Aunt Pat was a special person. My mom called her the "rose". I have so many memories of her. My sister and I would go to her house and help to take care of Donald and Lisa when we visited in the summer. One of my favorite memories was going to Pleasure Park by Saint Peter's she brought us with them and packed a wonderful lunch. She was a kind soft spoken and gentle soul. She will be missed.

To my wife's beloved mother and my son's Mom Mom.
You have touched this world and the people in it in so many positive ways. You were a most amazing role model for a wife and mother and your ever lasting legacy is the best wife and mother I could ever have asked for for my family. The love and caring you have passed on to your children is witnessed every day. The love you showed our son as he was growing up will be with him forever.
For those gifts I will be eternally grateful. You will be missed. And know that I will keep my promise that I made to you the day I married Lisa.

She was gentle, sensitive and truly compassionate.
Her smile lit the room and the love that filled her soul also filled those who were fortunate to know her........
