Obituary of Karen A. Wardell
Karen A. Shade Wardell, 77, of Brick, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
She was born in Belleville to the late Richard and Edith Shade and has lived in Brick since 1960.
Karen was a beloved wife and a loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite hobbies were reading, collecting knick-knacks, and going shopping with her granddaughter.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-nine years, Francis Wardell and two sons, Jeffery Wardell and his wife, Kay and Michael Wardell, all of Brick. Also surviving are her brother, Richard Shade, Jr.; three grandchildren, Alicia, Dylan, and Jonathin; her cat, “Nutmeg” and many dear friends.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 9 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 7 p.m. a service will be held.
