Obituary of Jonathan Robert Nauss

Jonathan Robert Nauss, 50, of Brick, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Born in Point Pleasant he grew up in Point Pleasant Beach and graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School.  He lived in San Diego and San Francisco, CA before returning to his beloved Jersey Shore in 2003.

Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Diego State University and earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master’s Degree with honors in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University.  He worked as a project manager for Bay Head Landscaping, Point Pleasant.

He loved to travel the world visiting London, Berlin, Dubai, Iceland, Thailand, and Hong Kong. He loved to fish and went to Panama and the Dominican Republic chasing his trophy.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert V. and Carolyn E. Nauss.

Surviving are two sisters, Nora Price and her husband, Roger of Kissimmee, FL and Marilyn Nauss of Foster City, CA; and one brother, Christopher Nauss and his wife, Carol of Long Beach, CA.

At 10 a.m., Saturday, December 7 a Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, 406 Forman Avenue (corner of Saint Louis Ave.) Point Pleasant Beach.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
