Obituary of Elaine C. Gowin

Elaine C. Branda Gowin, 78, of Brick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2020.

Born in North Bergen to the late Frank and Elsie Branda, she lived there before moving to the Brick area sixty years ago.

Elaine worked as a medical receptionist at Ocean Medical Center and retired from Atlantic Coast Gastro, Brick.  She loved spending time with her family and adored being a grandmother and great grandmother.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of thirty-eight years, Albert Gowin; sisters, Joan Megow, Elsie Snell, Jane Rivera; and brother, Robert Branda.

Surviving are her four children, June May and husband, Dave of Marathon, FL, Scott Gowin and wife, Carol of Manahawkin, NJ, Janine Domizio and husband, Gio of Naples, Italy, and Mary Scardilli and husband, Chris of Brick, NJ. Also surviving is her brother, Frank Branda. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Amanda Prestia, Katie Curtis, Samantha Camarato, Alexandra Mackanic, Angel Scardilli, Nicole Scardilli, Cassandra Gowin, and Natalie Gowin; and her great-granddaughter, Alayna Acosta.

Inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, will be at a later date.
