My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of sweet cousin Gloria. I remember as a young girl visiting with my family to her house in Irvington. We would go play across the street in the park. Such beautiful memories. My mom loved her cousin. She would always say what a nice person she was. May she rest in peace with her family in heaven .

Oh my gosh, I can actually hear Gloria's voice saying "Pammy" in my head! I can picture our families sitting around the table in the kitchen area. I remember you sending us to the yard or basement to play so you and my mom could talk. I don't have specific memories, but more of a warm feeling when I think back to those days. Gloria, I am so glad I was able to visit you here in Brick with Christine. I know my mom and dad are with you now. Please give Nichole a hug for me. Continue to watch over your family. You will always be in my childhood memories kept in a special place in my heart. xoxo

Grandma Gloria would come up every summer to stay with us when I was younger when she lived in FL. She loved reading History books and watching Jeopardy. She only drank her coffee black. Grandma taught me how to play solitaire and we both shared the same affinity for cream cheese. Rocco and Giada enjoyed spending time with her at the nursing home and FaceTime. I’m thankful the kids were able to get to know her. We will miss GiGi.

Although Gloria became my aunt when I was an adult, she was my Aunt Gloria. She was so good to my Uncle Fred and just such a kind and warm person. I have fond memories of her sitting in my mother’s kitchen when they would visit from Florida and of them playing cards. My mother cared for her deeply. Well now Fred, my grandma, and my mom have a fourth for pinochle. Not saying the proper goodbye must be so hard for the family, but you will. She understands. She will live in your hearts forever.

One of the things I will never forget about Aunt Gloria is how she was always reading something and how she work up so early every morning (with the chickens!). I remember once when she and my Grandma Lena (Ursula) came to visit us when I was a teenager. She told me “What time do you want to wake up in the morning?” I told her I woke up right before 6:00 in the morning and not to worry about it because I set my alarm clock. The next morning, she woke me up at 5:55 and asked me “Now Laura, wasn’t that better than an alarm clock?” Yes, Aunt Gloria, it was! She was always so kind and never had a bad word to say about anyone. You will be missed Aunt Gloria.
