Only met Charlie a few times at the farm picnic, but fondly remember his friendliness and humor. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ordino family and everyone whose life Charlie touched. God bless.

Our fathers grew up the best of friends, now both retired and still in touch I hear from dad Charlie has passed. We lost touch as adults but checked in every few years but, as children we were always together whenever I'd visit from Arizona. Hunting and fishing was the staple.... we spent a week together running around Point fishing and eating giant sandwiches that charlie was like sure use the whole loaf....Uncle Chick looked like his eyes were gonna pop out his head.....Charlie just grinned at me. From BBqs and Family gatherings on steamy hot summers he was a big part of my childhood summers and most of my fondest childhood memories have "Little Charlie" right there always excited and smiling. Rest easy Brother you'll be a great memory to me for as long as I have them.

"MONSTER FROM THE DEEP!” That's what Charlie always said when he pulled up a 6 1/2" blueclaw crab from the Barnegat brine. My summer days won't be the same without you Chuckles. They will certainly be quieter, they will be lonelier, they will be less fun, and I'll definitely shed a few tears the first day crabbing this season without you. But my tears will stop when I think of my brother, my true friend, the guy who never said no to a day out by the bay, a special friend who made me laugh – all the time!
I'm so thankful for the time we spent together, fond memories at the Mantoloking Bridge, Bay Head, Sea Girt, Manasquan and the canal. And like all who knew him and loved him – and still love him like I do -- there will be times when we miss him so much it will hurt, when we wish he hadn’t left us so soon. But then when we think of him a second time, and we know that he’s now in a better place, a smile and a laugh will surely arrive, helping to lighten the hurt. There’s no doubt, Charlie will always make us smile.
I’ll toss an extra trap for you Chuckles and I’ll throw the first “Monster from the Deep” back into the water so you can catch him another day. Chuckles will probably curse me from his better place for letting the monster crab go free, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from him. Rest easy, my brother.

I remember when Charlie and I were really little playing on the floor of my grandmother’s house. He was still crawling, and I was 5 years older. I remember him just looking up at me and smiling and crawling toward me. He was so cute, and I was so happy because I felt like I made a new friend. Charlie was my cousin and I loved him, but I also really liked him. I always felt understood and appreciated around him, and that will stay with me always.

I did not know your Charlie but I know your sister Christine. She’s a very special friend and I love her dearly. I pray God will wrap his loving arms around her and comfort her in her hour of need. Condolences to the rest of the family for their loss. May you find peace in knowing there’s no more pain or suffering. God bless you all

Charlie was a funny, smiling, terrific guy who was easy to get along with. He helped others at work doing whatever was asked of him. Gone too soon, the Lord has other plans for you ...Rest in peace Charlie.

I am so saddened to learn of Charlie’s passing. Knew him through Deana and marveled at his ability to help her on her healing journey. My sincerest sympathies to Deana and Charlie’s family... May you find peace and acceptance through powerlessness.. and know that you are being supported by your Higher Power when it seems that all is falling apart around you. God Bless and protect you now and always. Love.
