Obituary of Anthony Gerard Marchetti

Anthony Gerard Marchetti, 62, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Born in Westchester, NY to the late Enzo and Elizabeth Marchetti, he lived in Wallington and Cedar Grove and for the past five years in Point Pleasant.

Mr. Marchetti was a member of the Point Pleasant Elks Lodge 1698 and past member of the Cedar Grove Elks Lodge 2237.  He was also member of the Point Pleasant Moose Lodge 1549 and the Knights of Columbus, Saint Martha Council, Point Pleasant.

Surviving are his loving sister, Donna Meccia and her husband, Steve of Point Pleasant.  Also surviving are three nephews, Daniel, Michael, and Matthew Meccia; and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 8 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. (Facial coverings are required, attendance limitations, and adherence to social distancing guidelines are in effect) Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, will be held privately.
