


Obituary of Daniel E. Skowronski
Daniel E. Skowronski, 76, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Born in Jersey City to the late Raymond and Helen Skowronski, he lived there until moving to Point Pleasant Beach thirty years ago.
Dan worked as a bus driver for Red and Tan, Jersey City, and for Jaeger Lumber, Point Pleasant Beach. He was a United States Navy, Vietnam era veteran and was an integral member of Ocean Fire Company No. 1, Point Pleasant Beach, serving as Engineer, Trustee, and Vice President. He was also a member of the NJ State Exempt Firemen’s Association.
Dan was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Motyleski.
Surviving are his beloved companion, Marie Kilcullen; his sons and daughters, Daniel E. Skowronski and wife, Deborah of Montclair, Deborah Skowronski and fiancé, Keith Kay of Jersey City, Michael Skowronski and fiancée, Jeanine Reiss of Wayne, Laura Velez and husband, David of Freehold, and Jason Skowronski and wife, Yara of Jersey City; and eight grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel, Jr., Deanna, Sean, Reiss, Liam, Michael, and Caleb. Also surviving are his brother, Robert Skowronski and wife, Linda of Point Pleasant; Marie’s daughter, Helen Schulter and husband, John of Point Pleasant Beach and their children, Jack, Thomas, and Julia; nieces, Melissa, Jessica, and Michele; nephew, Michael, Jr.; great-nieces, Alexis and Pricilla; great-nephews, Kyler, and Kurt; and brother-in-law, Michael Motyleski, Sr.
Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday, November 19 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Friday, November 20 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter R.C. Church, 406 Forman Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach. (Facial coverings are required and adherence to social distancing will be in effect.)
